[U.S. Congressman Calls for Investigation into CFTC Chair Nominee Quintenz's Relationship with Prediction Market Kalshi] U.S. Congresswoman Dina Titus wrote to CFTC Acting Chair Caroline Pham, requesting an investigation into whether chair nominee Brian Quintenz violated regulatory policies and ethical standards. Titus questioned whether Quintenz, during his tenure on the board of the prediction market company Kalshi, might have solicited non-public information and had conflicts of interest. Quintenz has stated that he will resign from the Kalshi board if confirmed. His Senate confirmation vote has been delayed twice.
