Golden Finance reports that Kroma, the Layer 2 network launched by Wemade subsidiary Lightscale, has been launched on the main network. Kroma is an Ethereum Layer 2 network that uses technology that combines zero-knowledge proofs with Optimistic. Kroma plans to upgrade to 100% zero-knowledge roll-up in the future. Additionally, Kroma will issue its native token KRO (KRO) in the middle of next year without the need for a pre-launch or mining. Kroma initially plans to focus on games, and will later expand to DeFi, NFT and other fields.

Zero-knowledge roll-up is technically difficult, but the block confirmation speed is faster than Optimistic, so Chroma plans to upgrade to 100% zero-knowledge roll-up in the future. Chroma will release its native token KRO (KRO) in the middle of next year without pre-launch or mining.
