According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on August 12, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated on X: Given the surge in demand brought by GPT-5, our priority allocation of Computing Power in the coming months is as follows: 1. Firstly, ensure that the total availability for current paid ChatGPT users is greater than before the launch of GPT-5. 2. Secondly, prioritize meeting API demand until we reach the current allocated capacity and the commitments made to customers. (Roughly estimated, the existing capacity can support about 30% new API growth on top of the current basis.) 3. Improve the service quality of the free version of ChatGPT. 4. Then prioritize meeting new API demands. We plan to double the Computing Power cluster in the next 5 months, so this situation is expected to improve.
