MakerDAO completes the establishment of the executive director team, with the founder of Gnosis joining.
After 9 months of intense competition, MakerDAO has finally selected a new Executive Director. Following Mike Beller and Sam MacPherson, Martin Koppelmann has become the third and final Executive Director.
Koppelmann is one of the founders of Gnosis and has been involved in the development of the Ethereum ecosystem since 2015. He has extensive experience in decentralized governance and prediction markets.
Koppelmann stated on social media that he will be committed to promoting the development of MakerDAO, including improving governance, increasing the adoption rate of DAI, and exploring new business opportunities.
This appointment is an important part of MakerDAO's "Giant DAO" program, aimed at achieving more efficient decision-making and execution through decentralization. As one of the executive directors, Koppelmann will be jointly responsible for the daily operations and strategic decisions of MakerDAO with the other two directors.
The MakerDAO community welcomes this appointment and looks forward to Koppelmann bringing new perspectives and momentum to the project. With the arrival of the three executive directors, MakerDAO's governance structure will be further improved, laying a foundation for future development.
