On February 24, Jinshi data reported that the number of job vacancies posted by UK employers last month was the lowest in January in four years, but salaries continued to rise strongly, indicating the challenges faced by the Central Bank of the UK. Job search company Adzuna stated that the number of job vacancies provided in January decreased by 4.5% year-on-year to slightly below 828,500, the lowest January data since 2021. However, the average recruitment salary rose by 7.0% year-on-year, maintaining a strong rising trend. Adzuna co-founder Andrew Hunter stated that this reflects that even though overall recruitment is slowing down, talent competition in key industries is still intensifying.
