Egypt reiterates its opposition to Israel's "re-military occupation of the Gaza Strip"

Jin10 reported on August 10 that Egyptian President Sisi met with visiting Turkish Foreign Minister Fidan in Cairo on the 9th, where both sides reiterated their opposition to Israel's "re-military occupation of the Gaza Strip." The Egyptian presidential office stated in a statement on the same day that Egypt and Turkey called for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, allowing humanitarian aid to enter Gaza, and promoting the exchange of detained individuals between the conflicting parties. Both sides also reiterated their opposition to any plan that would displace Palestinians.
