Jin10 reported on July 27 that an attack occurred around a church in eastern Congo (Kinshasa) on July 27 local time, resulting in at least 21 deaths. According to a coordinator from a local civil association, the "Allied Democratic Forces" attacked a Catholic church in the Komanda area of Ituri Province, eastern Congo (Kinshasa), and burned and looted several nearby homes and shops. Search and rescue efforts and casualty assessments are still ongoing.
