On August 11, according to prnewswire, the US stock Ethereum strategy company BitMine Immersion Technologies (stock code: BMNR) announced today that its Ethereum (ETH) holdings have surpassed $4.96 billion. As of 10:59 PM Eastern Time on August 10, the company holds 1,150,263 ETH (unit price $4,311, data source: Bloomberg), making it the largest ETH reserve entity in the world. The company stated that since launching its ETH reserve strategy on June 30 (completed delivery on July 8), BitMine has achieved several key breakthroughs in five weeks: not only has it built the world's largest ETH reserve, but it has also jumped to become the third largest holder of cryptocurrency assets globally, with a total scale exceeding $4.98 billion, second only to Microstrategy and Mara Blockchain. Thomas "Tom" Lee, chairman of the BitMine board and Fundstrat analyst, known as the "Ethereum bull leader" in this bull run, stated: "The company increased its ETH holdings from 833,000 to 1.15 million in a week (value skyrocketed from $2.9 billion to $4.96 billion), rapidly advancing its Ethereum strategy. We are leading the industry in terms of growth in net asset value per share of cryptocurrency and stock liquidity."
