📉 Complexity of $BTC mining has increased by 7.96%



As a result of another recalculation, which took place on July 12, the mining difficulty of the first cryptocurrency increased by 7.96%, reaching a value of 126.27 T. This brings the figure closer to the historical maximum, which was recorded in May and amounted to 126.98 T.

After the complexity change, the average hashrate of the network decreased to 797 EH/s and the inter-block interval increased to 11 minutes. According to Hashrate Index data, the hashrate dropped from ~$64 to ~$59 per PH/s per day after the recalculation. This offset all the upside that was driven by the digital gold rally and ATH reaching above $123,000
