Jinse Finance reports that Web3 software company Lucky Friday has launched Teddy DAO, a collection of perpetual NFTs that donate the proceeds of its sales to charity. Teddy DAO partnered with JustGiving, a global fundraising organization, aiming to use cryptocurrencies as a fundraising mechanism to promote global social impact. Starting June 23, Teddy DAO will hold daily auctions for one of its Teddy NFTs, created by digital artist Yumi and minted on the cross-chain smart contract platform Moonbeam. The auction winner can then donate the proceeds to one of the 400 charities that JustGiving supports, after which the cryptocurrency is converted to fiat and donated through the platform.
