Cathie Wood: We are guiding clients into alts
ARK Invest founder and CEO Cathie Wood stated in a recent interview that she is observing and cautiously guiding clients into this ecosystem.
Although Bitcoin (BTC) remains the core asset of their portfolio, altcoins like Ethereum (ETH) and Solana have become important components of their investment strategy. In the past, ARK had a higher allocation in Solana, but as Ethereum's performance surpassed that of Solana, ARK adjusted its strategy to increase its investment in Ethereum.
Wood revealed that ARK Invest will launch a bi-monthly report focusing on analyzing on-chain data for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, helping investors understand the signal characteristics of these assets. She pointed out that the transparency and verifiability of blockchain technology give it a unique position in the crypto asset space, which traditional stock and bond markets cannot provide. With the development of altcoins, their appeal to institutional investors is continuously increasing.
